Byrd's I Engineering Services

For an individual who wants to build a metal carport or put up a pre-engineered metal building on their property, many times they are told by the building permit official that they need an "engineer's stamp" on their plans before they can obtain their building permit. Byrd's I Engineering can provide this stamp. What the building permit official is looking for is a drawing or a set of drawings that show that the structure has been designed and analyzed by a registered professional engineer. This is how Byrd's I Engineering got started by helping the “Little Guy” get his project permitted.

In addition to assisting the individual we also work with building contractors, and through partnerships with both mechanical and electrical engineers, we can provide a complete set of stamped drawings for your commercial building both in New Mexico and Texas as Byrd's I Engineering is licensed in both states.

Services we provide:

  • Metal carport design
