About Byrd's I Engineering
Byrd's I Engineering, LLC is a woman-owned and operated civil engineering firm. Byrd's I was established in 2004 as a part-time venture filling a niche of providing engineering for metal carports and foundations for pre-engineered buildings for residential shops and garages. Due to the success of this part-time venture Byrd's I Engineering became a full-time company in 2008.
We still provide engineering for carports and foundations, but our typical clients are individuals needing structural design and plans for both commercial and residential structures, ie weld-up buildings and/or foundation design for pre-engineered structures. We have many repeat businesses from steel building contractors in the Hobbs NM and Midland TX areas. In addition to the metal building design, we also provide a variety of services and cater to the individual needing engineering expertise for projects small enough to be of no interest to larger firms.
Byrd's I Engineering follows the National Society of Professional Engineers' code of ethics as stated by the Engineer's Creed:
